Where are they now? Since 2007 BC Tech has been providing grants to exceptional students pursuing a post-secondary education in technology. Amounts vary depending on whether an applicant is still in grade 12 or already at university or college, and the bursary is meant as a stepping stone to help recipients leave their mark in the industry.

On March 15, BC Tech Association and TELUS launched a new dedicated stream of accelerator programming to support Indigenous-led technology companies. "BC Tech is dedicated to accelerating the success of our members," commented Jill Tipping, CEO of BC Tech. “We want membership of BC Tech to be accessible. In partnership with TELUS, we are pleased to launch a new accelerator stream for Indigenous-led tech companies including complimentary BC Tech membership and dedicated programming."
