Prizm Media is a healthcare media and technology company that is improving the experience for patients with chronic conditions by connecting them to healthcare partners for cost-savings and delivery for prescriptions, medical equipment, and medical services. Through its media reach and ts proprietary platforms like and, the company has facilitated access to care and improved treatment adherence to over 20 million patients since 2001. Meanwhile, Prizm has helped hundreds of healthcare partners, grow and scale their business through its predictive and results-driven marketing, technology and patient management services.

How do you celebrate company or employee wins? 

We stay true to our core values by showing our team that we care about them through personal and professional growth opportunities and by taking the time to celebrate the contributions and achievements of every team member. Every week, we hold a gratitude round at our company-wide sponsored lunch which gives everyone an opportunity to value and highlight one another’s contributions, achievements and impact they’ve made throughout the week. We make a very big point of making sure that everyone feels valued regardless of how big or small their contribution may be to the company’s bottom line.

What is the problem that you are trying to solve?

Healthcare providers face unprecedented challenges when trying to grow or scale their businesses. In the pharmacy space, they not only have to grapple with changing patient consumer expectations, decreasing drug reimbursement rates that erode their profit margins, but they now need to worry about competing with large corporations. Beyond worrying about staying relevant, they need to be agile enough to adapt to market and regulatory changes in healthcare. Our healthcare partners work with Prizm Media because we are solving all of the above challenges, by connecting them to qualified patient inquiries to increase their customer base and speed up their sales cycle. Meanwhile, we have developed a healthcare ecosystem – Rxtome – that directly improves the patient experience with the pharmacy and their treatment adherence through its management of medication delivery, health trackers, and medication alerts.

What is your biggest milestone to date? 

Prizm Media has proudly connected over 20 million patients to hundreds of healthcare partners, making a definite impact on these patients’ lives and the businesses that serve them.

What is your biggest challenge?

As we are expanding our business to other markets outside of North America, our biggest challenge is adapting our technology and services to the regulatory bodies that vary from country to country.

How are you making an impact?

Prizm Media is making an impact on the lives of patients with chronic conditions by improving their experience with healthcare, supporting their treatment adherence, and improving their access to healthcare products and services. We empower healthcare providers by injecting growth into their sales funnels – with an average growth of 200% annually – allowing them to service more patients and automate their onboarding process. The company has also committed to giving back to the community by dedicating 2.5% of its profits to causes that include poverty alleviation, healthcare advancement, education, and interfaith dialogue.

What is your hope for the future of tech in BC?

We hope to see the BC tech community become the driving force in our continent for talent and technology in the near future. The future is exciting, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store to advance society and solve existing problems.

What excites you about your job?

Knowing that every day, my position and company is making a difference and positively impacting the lives of people. My ability to give back to society is a major reason why I do what I do, day in and day out.

What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome?

I think one of the biggest obstacles was starting a business with no funding, no investment, nor experience. My co-founder and I were inexperienced and young when we started the company. One thing we did have was the will, motivation and drive to overcome challenges and succeed.

If you can give advice to your 20-year-old self, what would you say?

Focus on your vision. Be patient with yourself and others. Take time to reflect when making big decisions.

What are your pet peeves?

When someone tells me “I can’t do it.” or “It’s impossible.”

Words of wisdom to other tech CEOs or founders?

I don’t have any words of wisdom that I can give to other tech CEOs or founders that they don’t already know. But if anything, never give up.

Favourite city you visited?

Sorrento in the Amalfi Coast, Italy.

What is your formula for success?

Create a culture that cares for its team, its clients and the business’s vision and goals.

Name one book that everyone should read.

I’m a big fan of Elon Musk and I highly recommend his biography.

How do you decompress?

Going on a bike ride, being immersed in nature.
