In this week’s spotlight, we are highlighting a company that provides automated solutions to smart businesses. Machool Technologies enables businesses to replaces the cumbersome and error-prone ways of performing office tasks with its unique automated uDo platform. 1. Describe your company and your primary product(s) and/or service(s)

Machool Technologies provide customized lean automated self-service solutions to smart businesses. Our solutions streamline office tasks, facilitate processes, integrate closely with office systems, and reduce operational costs enabling users to replace the traditional, cumbersome and error-prone ways of performing office tasks with intelligent, efficient and intuitive processes, all from one central interface. Machool Technologies provide a cloud-based self-service marketplace platform (uDo) that offers different services along with unique analytics and reporting that helps companies and service providers get unique insights from these services. Machool Technologies also designs custom hardware for some services to make those services as automated as possible.

2. How many employees currently work at your company and where are you located?

We are located in Yaletown and have a team of 11 employees.

3. Describe the culture at your company.

Our company runs on trust. People can come and leave at any time as long as they are committed to their responsibilities. The positive and friendly atmosphere makes this a relaxing place to work. The environment at Machool encourages open communication which fosters a good team spirit. Everyone here cares about each other and it is like a family.

4. What does your leadership team (and company as a whole) do to support/grow that culture?

Managers have a weekly one-on-one meeting with employees to make sure they are happy and have everything they need to do their job. Leadership always put employees first and consider
every single employee as an important asset to the company.

5. When your employees talk about your company, what do they brag about?

6. Describe your most recent achievement, milestone, reason for bragging rights.

Machool Technologies KioskWe recently finished the development of our innovative uDo platform, the market place for self-service solutions and its first application uSend. From now one we are able to develop new services on uDo platform in 4-8 weeks.

HONORS & AWARDS:

Top 80 – Pioneers Festival 2015: Machool Technologies was selected to be one of only 80 Showroom exhibitors at this festival (28-29 May 2015 in Vienna, Austria).

Top 15 – Web Summit 2015: Machool Technologies has been selected in the top fifteen percentile for BETA program. (03-05 Nov 2015 in Dublin, Ireland).

7. What kinds of roles are you hiring for?

We are always looking for a talent. Currently we are expanding our development team and also our sales and marketing team to help us with go to market strategies.

8. What kinds of people are you looking for?
We are looking for fun, but at the same time smart people. The first thing we consider is their personality and if they match the company culture, and then their educational and technical background.

9. What is your company goal for the coming year?

Machool Technologies KioskHaving 50+ big customers (1000+ employees), moving from a medium size company to large size company. Have 5 services on uDo platform. Pushing the company to over 10 million dollar valuation.
