Biographical Info

Erica Pretorius is the Global Third-Party Assurance Leader for Deloitte and the National Leader for the Technology Fast 50 program. Erica’s knowledge and vision of internal control frameworks helps companies bridge gaps between service providers and their customers to reduce friction in the sales cycle and maintain a competitive edge. With extensive expertise in assessing and improving IT governance, she works with organizations that are scaling up to manage their IT risk in order to promote efficient and innovative growth.

Cloud service providers (Saas, Iaas, Paas) and managed hosting providers across diverse industries rely on her expertise. Erica works with her clients to understand the challenges and goals when evaluating internal controls and the risks surrounding systems and data, outsourcing, IT implementations and privacy of information (GDPR and related regulations). 

Actively involved in the technology community, Erica is a Board Member of the Vancouver Enterprise Forum (VEF) and was President and Board Member of the Vancouver Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She is also a frequent speaker on issues relating to enterprise risk management, women in technology and mentoring. She also holds CISA, CIA, CCSK and CISSP certifications.
