We’re passionate about making drag more accessible to the community and sustainable as a full-time career for performers. As a Business Development Representative, you will have the chance to be part of an exciting QueerTech start-up that directly helps drag performers and the 2SLGBTQIA* community. Your contribution will help to propel change and open up more economic opportunities for the 2SLGBTQIA* community.

Who you are
➔ You have strong experience with collaboration, communication, and compassion. If you happen to love drag – jackpot!
➔ You have experience in Business Development and/or Sales and are looking to grow your skill set at a real tech startup
➔ You’ve been told more than once that you could sell anything to anyone
➔ At work, you have an extroverted personality and are able to convince strangers you’re their new best friend
➔ You’re a self-starter, easily able to identify tasks that need completing in order to position the company for success

What the job involves
➔ You will be part of a cross-functional team of professionals; cross-collaboration, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude are key
➔ Researching and identifying new business opportunities, including new partnerships, growth areas, trends, products, and services
➔ Understanding and documenting the needs of existing users and how the company’s products or services align with their goals
➔ Building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with Artists, Fans, Event Promoters, Venues, and other industry contacts
➔ Negotiating with internal stakeholders and drafting business proposals and contracts to close deals and secure new business
➔ Utilizing CRM software to track progress with new prospects, manage business leads, and analyze data to inform business strategies
➔ Finally, you are responsible for continuously improving yourself — always ask for what you need
