Announced by Discovery Parks’ Chair of the Board, Morgan Sturdy, “After nearly 40 years of success in the property development business for the tech sector in greater Vancouver, the Board of Directors has decided on a major pivot and will now be investing our capital in early stage companies in the Health Tech Sector. “Nimbus Synergies Inc. represents a new business model for Discovery Parks and highlights the shifting needs of BC’s tech industry,” explains Paul Geyer, CEO, Discovery Parks. “While in the past, emerging tech businesses looked to Discovery Parks to provide space and incubation, today this fertile industry needs business mentorship, capital investment and value creation — which is exactly what Nimbus will provide.
