Last night we gathered for our monthly Surrey Centre4Growth Tech Entrepreneur Meetup and had a great time getting to know tech entrepreneurs with our hosts, Beta Collective!

For this particular meetup, we invited Eugene Dautzenberg, Tax Manager at Deloitte, to share his best tips and tricks on dealing with taxes and avoiding tax issues. As it is tax season, it was a pleasure to have Eugene come out despite his busy schedule and provide some solid advice!

We discussed the importance of SR&ED claims for startup companies and learned about the different types of services that Deloitte provides startups and entrepreneurs. The audience included a range of tech entrepreneurs from Surrey including a startup working on 3D animation technology and a IT services support company. Also on hand was plenty of delicious pizza and $2 ice, cold beers to quench our thirst!
