Tell us about your company. When were you founded? What do you do? Where are you located?

Intiveo is a patient communication service for healthcare specialists.  We were founded in 2010 and our headquarters in Vancouver British Columbia, but we have employees all the way across Canada.  

What exactly do you do?

Our focus is to ensure that patients have the information they need, exactly when they need it, giving the patient the best opportunity for a successful outcome of their procedure. We believe in the power of personalized communication and we build amazing products that help practices run more effectively.

What is the big problem your company is tackling? 

Patients are busier than ever and, as such, they’re running late. They’re showing up ill-prepared or they’re missing their appointments all together. For a health care specialist, it’s not just about showing up.  But it’s making sure that patients have their forms filled out, their premedication is taken, their fasting instructions have been followed. We tackle this problem in two ways.  First, we understand exactly what our clients need to ensure successful outcome of their procedures.  And secondly, what the best way to communicate with our patients is, to make sure that they follow these requirements.   Our service focuses on being configurable to each of our clients needs.  

What are you most proud of in terms of company milestones?

When I look back at the past 10 years, I think I’m most proud of the team that we built and the clients that we’ve helped.    There is something so special, as a founder, about seeing your teammates care as passionately as you do, and to carry that torch further than you ever could individually.  So that’s probably the biggest thing I’m most proud of, having people live out our vision.

How would you describe your company culture? What are three words that you would use to describe your company?

Outside of awesome I would say intelligent, curious, and committed.  Those are three things that we really look at for teammates.

What is it like to work at your company? 

Adventure!  That’s true of every startup, but we built a team of diverse individuals that are committed to solving patient communication for health care specialists.

We care deeply about each other, not only our teammates but our partners and our clients.  Intiveo is not for everyone, however, if you enjoy solving problems, having consistent adventure, and having opportunity all around you, there’s no place better to work and grow. This is a group of people that care and want the very best for each other, being around that is something that you need to experience to fully appreciate, and I think that’s what makes Intiveo such a special place to work.
