This award acknowledges a scale-up success tech company with revenue of up to $50M and up to 200 employees that is an emerging leader and role model in the BC technology industry. Winners of this award will likely continue to grow to become the next anchors of BC’s tech ecosystem.

1. Awards Pitch (max. 250 words) – 20%*

This award acknowledges a high growth company that has demonstrating outstanding performance and potential to grow further. With revenue and employee count growing year on year it is exceeding expectations of its investors and has the potential to become a leader in its market. It is a growth role model for BC’s tech ecosystem. Tell us why your company best exemplifies a BC growth success story.

2. Business Strategy and Impact (max. 500 words) – 20%*

Tell us more about your company’s business strategy and impact. What business are you in and why do your products/solutions matter? What makes your products/solution unique and compelling? What customers and markets do you support? What are the wider and future implications of your business success for BC and the world? What are 3 key KPIs that showcase your company’s success and set it apart from others?

3. Business Performance (max. 500 words and high-level financial metrics) – 25%*

Time to prove the case! Share with us details of your business performance to demonstrate your success. Please provide detail on your revenue and market share for the last 3 years (2025, 2024, 2023) What was key to your success to date, what strategies or business decisions impacted your business performance. What are your aspirations for the future?

4. Turning Points and Milestones (max. 750 words) – 35%*

The journey to scaleup success is rarely a straight line and brings new challenges. What were some of the key milestones in your journey specific to each of the following areas: Talent, Capital and Customers. In addition, tell us about a turning point in your company’s journey that had a significant impact on where you are today. What about your journey to scaleup success can inspire and encourage others?

5. Finalist Filming Commitment*

If your company is selected as a Finalist, you will be required to provide a representative to participate in official Finalist Filming. To best showcase your organization’s story, we strongly recommend a senior leader (e.g., Founder, CEO, Executive Leader etc.) participate in the filming. A confirmed representative must be available and their information is required at this stage.
