Scholarship winners will be celebrated during the 2025 Technology Impact Awards, where they will be recognized for their achievements.

2025 Grant Amounts

• Up to 3 x $3,500 for current university and college students
• Up to 3 x $2,500 for grade 12 graduates entering post-secondary

Spirit of BC Tech Scholarship

The Spirit of BC Tech Scholarship fund provides additional bursaries of $1000 to qualifying post-secondary and grade 12 students who best exemplify the values of BC’s tech sector.

Scholarship Criteria

University and college applicants must:

• Show passion for the technology sector, involvement in the tech community, and desire to leave a mark in the future of technology;
• Be a full-time student continuing studies in 2025 at a publicly funded or private BC-based post-secondary educational program including microcredential certifications;
• Be a permanent resident, landed immigrant or Canadian citizen; and
• Have a minimum 3.4 GPA.

Graduating grade 12 applicants must:

• Show passion for the technology sector, involvement in the tech community, and desire to leave a mark in the future of technology;
• Be accepted into a publicly funded or private BC-based post-secondary educational program beginning in 2025*;
• Be a permanent resident, landed immigrant or Canadian citizen; and
• Have a minimum 3.4 GPA.

* Graduating Grade 12 students who have not yet received a letter of enrolment are still eligible to apply. Once shortlisted, proof of enrolment will be required by 31 May 2025.
