On January 28th, 2015, 38 clean technology companies from Greater Vancouver competed for the title of Greater Vancouver’s Clean Technology Champion. After two rounds of pitches, a panel of 12 local and international clean technology investors and buyers selected TSO Logic out of a group of six finalists. TSO Logic is the energy efficiency software for data centres, helping reduce server energy waste by up to 50%. In addition to being named champion, they also won a $10,000 prize provided by Vancity credit union and a trophy designed by Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s School of Design.

As a sponsor of the event, we held a pitch training camp several days before the competition, led by Dr. Peter Payne, Director of Programs and Executive-in-Residence. Out of the six finalists, four were participants of the pitch training camp. We would like to give a congratulations to all of the clean technology companies who participated in this great event and wish them a successful future!
