Randy has passionately worked with dozens of emerging technology companies over the past 30+ years in various capacities as an investor, advisor, and board member. He is currently Managing Partner of Vistara Growth which he founded in 2015. Since inception, Vistara has raised and invested US$500M+ into 40+ growth stage technology companies across North America including numerous BC-based technology success stories. Prior to launching Vistara, Randy co-founded and was Managing Partner of Beedie Capital, a family office group where he developed and followed the same growth capital strategy between 2010-2015. He continues to be involved with the community through initiatives such as the Vistara Elevate Award (focused on underrepresented students in the areas of STEM and finance), BC’s Social Venture Partners, and serving on the Board of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA).
