18 Nov 2016 HyperGrowth 2 Graduates: Event Recap
Tuesday, November 15th marked the end of HyperGrowth2.0. To celebrate, we held a graduation party, generously hosted by program partner Microsoft at the beautiful Microsoft Canada Excellence Centre. We were also lucky enough to have the Honourable Amrik Virk, Minister of Technology and Citizen Services, join us and say a few words about the future of tech in BC.
Five proud companies walked across the stage to receive their diplomas and recognize 6 months of hard work towards becoming the next anchor companies. Throughout their cohort, these companies participated in a variety of coaching sessions, including an intensive 5 part sales workshop and lessons from top tech CEOs such as Jeff Booth of BuildDirect, Scott Larson of Urthecast, and more.
Thanks again to our program sponsors Microsoft, BuildDirect, Global Relay, ACL, Vancity and Gowling WLG, for being a part of the HyperGrowth family and making these cohorts possible!
