About this Award

Celebrating the dealmakers and leaders behind transformative mergers & acquisitions, or funding rounds, this award recognizes the importance of transactions that drive growth and strengthen BC’s tech ecosystem. Award recipients will include and recognize the lead Technology Company as well as their transaction advisors (e.g. financial and legal advisors).

Who Should Apply?

Nominations for this award should be made in the name of the lead Technology Company involved in the Deal which must be:

BC-based
Selling a technology-related product, service, solution, system or platform

Nominations in this category may include:

Venture Capital Financings
Private Equity Investments
Debt Financings
Mergers & Acquisitions
IPOs & Direct Listings

Eligible deals for this category must have been completed between January 1, 2024 and March 21, 2025 (the application deadline).

Who Can Submit a Nomination?

The Technology Company involved in the deal.
One or more professional services firms (e.g., legal counsel or financial advisors) or shareholders/investors that supported the deal.
