This week’s Spotlight focuses on TTT Studios, an award-winning Digital Innovation Studio, building software for more than 150 clients around the world. They work with industry leaders and challengers who have ambitious goals and see the value in re-shaping their industries through technology. Their services include custom software development, UX/UI design, mobile app development, web development, and systems integration and consulting.

How many employees currently work at your company?

We currently have 45 employees.

Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of downtown Vancouver right on top of Holt Renfrew.

Describe the culture at your company.

TTT is made up of an amazing group of genuine and passionate individuals. We’ve been called “nerdy” but we see that as a good thing. We’re incredibly supportive of each other, and we like to goof around when we’re not hard at work building beautiful products for clients….not to mention we have an arsenal of tasteful dad jokes.

What does your leadership team (and company as a whole) do to support/grow that culture?

We’re huge believers in teamwork. We have weekly standups and monthly town hall meetings where we keep everyone in the loop. It’s a great forum for communication and gathering feedback from the team. TTT holds an annual scavenger hunt where our competitive spirit gets funnelled into an epic gauntlet of kill or be killed fun.

When your employees talk about your company, what do they brag about?

• We work on a ton of very cool projects leveraging bleeding edge technology.
• The lack of bureaucracy allows us to work very collaboratively, and get things done quickly which is important in tech.
• TTT is a very fun place to work because of the people here. The members on the team all have a genuine relationship with each other (4.8 rating on Glassdoor).

Describe your most recent achievement/milestone as a company.

Moving into our new office was a huge step for us. With triple the space, double the meeting rooms, and a great view, it sets the stage for us to continue to grow. And rebranding from Two Tall Totems to TTT Studios!

Are you hiring? Why should a candidate apply to your company? What are the benefits of working for you?

We’re always looking for designers and developers to join our team. In addition to being able to work with very friendly & genuine people, you’ll also have support in carving out a career path. We have weekly lunch and learns, yoga sessions, and an extended health care plan for employees.

Who is the ideal employee for your company?

We’re looking for someone who fits in with our culture.  The most important quality would be a voracious appetite for continuous learning and growth. We work in an industry where things move very quickly. We’re not interested in just keeping up, we’re in it to lead the charge.

What is your company goal for the coming year?

Definitely continued growth. We’re well on our way to filling out our new office, and we have a lot of exciting new projects on the horizon for 2019 that will help us achieve this!
