Vanrx Pharmasystems makes aseptic filling machines for the pharmaceutical industry. Our systems use isolated robotics and machine vision to automate the packaging of injectable drugs. Currently, Vanrx has 75 amazing employees and is continuing to expand!

Where are you located?

Vanrx is a Canadian-made biotechnology company based in the geographic centre of the lower mainland in Burnaby, BC. Our office is away from the busy downtown traffic with convenient commuting from all surrounding locations.

Vanrx supports and grows our company culture through our collaborative nature, including multi-function Core Teams, daily stand-ups, and regular ‘lunch & learns’. Keeping everyone in the loop has allowed people to widen their awareness in this specialized field.

When your employees talk about your company, what do they brag about?

  • Our customers use Vanrx systems to bring new cancer and rare disease therapies to market, treating previously untreatable conditions.
  • We make really cool, shiny, stainless steel machines integrating robotics, chemical engineering, and vision technologies.

Describe your most recent achievement/milestone as a company.

Vanrx was recently named the fastest growing technology company in Canada on the Deloitte 2018 Technology Fast 50™ list. The program celebrates innovation in the form of rapid revenue growth percentage, which was 19,342% for Vanrx. We were not expecting first place, therefore we quickly put together a Pizza Hut lunch and further celebrated at the annual Christmas party!

Vanrx founders, Chris Procyshyn and Ross Gold, are still with the company today and are highly invested in growing Vanrx in Canada. Currently, over 70% of our supply chain is Canadian with the majority of that from BC.
