With the 2015 Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) coming up just next Thursday, we’re excited to be highlighting the last batch of finalists this week! We have already featured the Company and Technology Awards finalists, so now it’s time to take a look at our contenders for the Personal Recognition Awards. The Personal Recognition Awards are separated into three categories: Team of the Year, Community Engagement and Person of the Year.

The winner of the final category, Person of The Year, will be revealed on June 4th at the TIAs. This is awarded to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the BC technology industry during the past year. This contribution may be through paid or volunteer activities with a company, research institution, association, or non-profit agency. Past winners include David Demers of Westport (2014), Warren Roy of Global Relay (2013), and Ryan Holmes of Hootsuite (2012).
