Dorigo Systems is an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider and one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading contract manufacturers of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA). As a full turnkey solutions provider, Dorigo handles the entire production process from sourcing components and building boards to final assembly, configuration management, testing and shipping.

Walk through the halls at Dorigo and you’ll gain a true sense of family. Privately held since 1988, we care about our employees and it shows. Over 60% of our staff have been working at Dorigo Systems for over five years, and 21% have exceeded ten years.

Our management team has decades of combined experience in the engineering, supply chain and manufacturing sectors of the high tech industry that translates into an invaluable resource for solving technical, logistical and business issues. From streamlining production and designing for manufacturability to finding new ways of meeting challenging production deadlines.
Describe your most recent achievement/milestone as a company.
Dorigo Systems celebrated its 30th anniversary on June 1, 2018. During a luncheon attended by Dorigo staff, plans were unveiled for a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters to meet the growing demand for Dorigo’s Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). “This new facility represents continued stability and ongoing success for Dorigo Systems,” said Mark Pillon, P.Eng., Founder and President of Dorigo Systems. “Our vision is to operate a world-class facility for years to come to best serve the needs of our growing customer base.”

What is your company goal for the coming year?
To once again have record-breaking shipments and to move into our new 100,000+ sq. foot manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters in the Glenlyon Office Park in South Burnaby.
Tell us an interesting fact about your company.
The current facility is a very modern, high-tech looking building located right across the street from Bridge Studios in Burnaby. As a result, both the exterior and interior of the building have been in various locally produced television shows and movies over the years.
Does your organization take part in any community outreach?
Beyond the workplace, Dorigo Systems continually strives to make a positive impact upon both the local and global community. Under the umbrella of its parent company Pillon Holdings, Dorigo supports such charitable causes as the Canadian Cancer Society, the United Way, the North Shore Stars Girls volleyball team, and Family Services of the North Shore, among others. Pillon Holdings also sponsors the Pillon Holdings Group of Companies Scholarship in Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University. This holiday season, the company will participate in several community fundraisers, including the Rotary Club of Burnaby’s Festival of Lights, benefitting Boots for Kids, and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank’s annual food drive. Most notably, Dorigo also spearheads a major initiative benefitting an impoverished school in Cambodia, and to date has raised over $5,000 in cash and school supplies–and counting!
