01 Jun 2017 Sharka Stuyt Joins Board of Tailwind Transportation Software LLC
Vancouver, BC – May 31, 2017 – Tailwind Transportation Software is pleased to announce that Sharka Chobot Stuyt has agreed to join their Board of Directors effective June 1, 2017. Sharka will be the first independent Director on the board, and brings with her significant insight and expertise in technology, cloud-based platforms, and marketing.
Sharka is the Founder and Owner of Inspiro Services, a consultancy that provides leadership coaching and consulting, and is the Chief Transformation Officer at Neural Impact. Sharka’s recent work has been focused on helping technology firms around the world transform their traditional on premise software business to a cloud-based model. Sharka was instrumental in launching Simply Accounting in the 1980s (now Sage), helped grow ATI technologies (which was acquired by AMD for $5.6 billion) and was the creator of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) product category in 1996.
Sharka is a well-known executive coach, university lecturer, and motivational speaker. Sharka works with businesses and executives around the world helping them to increase their digital emotional engagement and adjust and adapt to the new cloud world. She has served as a Director for a number of technology companies, has been a board-member of the Technology Industries Association (TIA) of British Columbia, is currently a Senator at the Capilano University School, and teaches at the Sauder and Beedie Schools of Business at UBC and SFU in BC.

With an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University, and a Certified Executive Coach designation from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, Sharka will not only participate on the Board but also actively coach and support the executive management group at Tailwind as they meet the challenges of working in a fast growing business in a quickly evolving industry.

Sharka lives in Vancouver with her husband and three children. She is also a board member of the Elements Society which promotes conservation of natural resources through education.
