The Kootenay Association for Science & Technology (KAST) is a registered non-profit society in the Kootenay economic region representing a broad range of interests in the region’s science, technology, manufacturing, innovation and entrepreneurship sectors.

KAST works to foster a culture that values science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship as activities vital to maintaining and enhancing the economic diversity and competitiveness of the region.

KAST’s business development workshops, events, business coaching programs and regional economic development initiatives help to stimulate the growth of science, technology and entrepreneurship in the region.
