Background

The mission of Webmainland Media Ltd is to bridge the inclusion gap between the local community and Chinese newcomers and immigrants. The company was founded in October 2015, and we started our journey by helping the Chinese community obtain Diverse Community Resources.

What we do

With the growing immigrant population and the need for diversity and inclusion, one pressing issue is the lack of connection channels between local communities and newcomers. And because of the language barrier and cultural differences, local communities cannot serve customers if they don’t fully understand.

We have gathered a group of web designers, data scientists, writers, analysts, and programmers working together to help local businesses, real estate agents and community stakeholders. During COVID -19, we started to build Linli Talk: a smart social connector that introduces newcomers and immigrants to small group video gatherings, expanding newcomers’ local connections to diverse community resources.

The R&D

Our community marketing solutions connect locals with Chinese newcomers and immigrants. This requires automation and the applications of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain.We build plenty of digital applications to transform community engagement and cross-cultural connection. We advocate energy efficiency initiatives across neighbourhoods and communities. We use digitalization and creativity to build new neighbourhoods.

Your Role & Responsibility

We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Customer Engagement Specialist who will work on mainly the following tasks:

  • Local community information and presale listing information gathering
  • Digital content creation and flyer design
  • Add content to the website and community map tool
  • Wechat post creating and data analysis
  • Prepare monthly newsletters for business users
  • Create posts for businesses and realtors
  • Wechat promotion and customer relationship maintenance
  • Linkedin marketing and customer engagement
  • Communication and setup of Zoom
  • Product presentation
  • Wechat marketing and business user engagement
  • Develop user journey optimization document
  • Business relationship development

What you bring

The goal of this role is business development-oriented. You must be a strong results orientation, a proven record for meeting growth targets

  • Bilingual English/Chinese is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a good command of active listening
  • Self-motivated & driven, passionate about producing content and sharing, independent
  • Requires proficiency in market research and analysis
  • Successful candidates must have excellent knowledge of Wechat marketing
  • Good understanding of the real estate industry and community engagement
  • Experience in Facebook Ads, ins, and Wechat
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related to multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, and marketing effectiveness
  • Experience as a UI/UX is an asset

The Location

This position will be primarily working from home/remote. You will be required to attend online team meetings.
