About the Company:

Castofly is an all-in-one platform for teams and individuals to create and collaborate on videos. From a UI/UX perspective, the company is entering an exciting stage. Our first public web application was released early this month. As a result, we are receiving critical feedback from the users about their experience and how we can improve the interface.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented UX/UI designer to help us push the current technology to the next level. The ideal applicant will be creative, organized, ambitious, hardworking, self-motivated, and have excellent communication skills.


  • Provide various creative UX solutions to challenging problems
  • Collaborate with the software team to design features
  • Create wireframes, screen flows, and documentation to present to the rest of the team
  • Clearly communicate UI/UX goals and rationale
  • Iterate existing designs by gathering and assessing feedback
  • Work closely with the development team to implement features
  • Create mockups following existing Style Guides
  • Ensure screens and features are functioning as intended and with good UX, while displaying properly across different types of devices
  • Create and export assets, including new art and animations, for implementation
  • Research current video creation platforms and mobile design trends


  • Experience with developing intuitive UI/UX, or relevant schooling/student project work
  • Proficient in Figma, Photoshop and some experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Animate)
  • Familiarity with wireframing programs
  • Able to work individually and in small teams
  • Wireframing and prototyping skills
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Fast learner; able to pick up new programs and understand processes
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and graphic design skills is a must
  • Eligible to work in Canada, and based in BC
  • Previous experience in digital marketing is an asset
