Seven Hills Group Technologies Inc., located at # 304-4388 Beresford Street, Burnaby, BC, Canada, V5H 0E7 is looking to fill a vacant position for a Principal Software Quality Analyst (NOC 21222).

This will be a full-time, permanent position.

The job duties:

• Under general direction, debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company’s B2B and B2C products.
• Responsible for following and developing Behavior Driven and Hybrid Test framework and alignment with overall QE strategy.
• Responsible for Test Management ,Test Planning, Test Estimation and Test Reporting
• Develop Test data, process and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs.
• Will work on technologies including multiple database platforms, virtual and cloud platforms, automation tools, web services, DevOps and configuration management to test Complex APIs.
• Should demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Prepare reports and documentation updates.
• Should be a technical consultant for automation issues, tools and processes.
• Will take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology.
• Interact closely with the client’s senior technical architect.
• Analyse and design test standards and procedures using network and downline system log.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Validate test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
• Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems;
• The Principal Software Quality Analyst will be focused on testing large sustain engineering efforts.

This position is full time, 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Applicant may be required to work on weekends as per work demand.
Annual salary $92000.  40 hours per week.
Benefits : Annually two weeks of paid vacation and an additional three personal days and two days of training leave. Overtime will be calculated after 40 hours/ week and will be paid 1.5 times of basic wages. Additional medical coverage provided through the company.

Job requirements:

–        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline

Candidate must have the following experience:

• 5  years of experience with QA practices within different software development methodologies
• Writing unit tests, API tests, and Automation scripts using  Jerkin, JMockit, JUnit, TestNG.
• Implementing the test suite and test script using Wiremock, Selenium, Microservice API rest Assured Framework.
• API level test automation expertise along with experience with web service technology like REST and SOAPUI.
• Working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse the aviation test data and perform a query on Google or Amazon search engine;
• Must have worked independently and with experience in mentoring a specialised team
• Experience in detecting PCI and Veracode log scanning.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium and HP UFT
• Experience with supporting setting up test automation harnesses, scripts, etc.
• Experience with OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages like Java, C#.
• Experience with Agile mode of working.
• Experience in repository tools like BitBucket and GIT.
