Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our team! As a Software Engineer intern, you will collaborate with our leaders and other team members on assignments. The ideal candidate will be comfortably familiar with some of the modern languages used in today’s startup industry programming. This position will be of interest to someone with a passion for healthcare, technology and making a positive difference in lives.

Primary Duties

• Developing applications (coding, programming)
• Debugging and testing code
• Documenting and testing new software applications
• Researching, investigating, and fixing a wide range of technical issues
• Collaborating with senior leaders
• Approaching problems and creating solutions
• Proactively learning about new technologies.

Requirements:

• We are looking for new graduates of technology, health sciences, sciences, business, or similar, interested in a 3 or 4-month hourly paid internship.
• Strong software engineering experience
• Proficiency in some combination of JavaScript, jQuery, MongoDB, HTML5 & CSS3, Twitter Bootstrap, REST, Node.js, React.js and some object-oriented programming
• Strong Knowledge of UX and UI concepts including designing responsive apps
• Strong HTML and CSS Prototyping
• Knowledge of web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) is a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Remuneration: Up to $22/HR Per 35 HR work week.
